Things People Ask Us

Things People Ask Us
The questions we get asked most — answered honestly, without the waffle.

Are your t-shirts actually made in Britain? The designs are printed and dispatched from Winsford, Cheshire — so yes, that part is genuinely British. The blank garments are sourced from quality suppliers abroad, because fully British-manufactured blanks at a reasonable price don't really exist at scale. We're honest about that. What we can tell you is that the printing, the people, and the postage are all very much here.

Why does your ad keep showing me an England design when I'm in Scotland? That's the algorithm, not us. It's doing its best. We have separate collections for England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland — because nobody wants to be handed someone else's identity. Head to the collections page and find yours.

Is any of this political? No. It's cotton. It washes at 30°. It's designed to make someone smile or feel seen — not to make a point. We're not in the business of telling people how to feel about where they're from. We just make t-shirts for people who already know.

Why so many designs? Why not keep it simple? Because Britain isn't simple. It's a place with strong opinions about tea, deeply held views on the correct way to queue, and four nations who would each like to be represented accurately, thank you very much. Simple was never really on the table.
